Question 424292: I do not know why, but every time I ask a question I seem to not get an answer anymore. What am I doing wrong?
Angle ABC has coordinates A(1, 2), B(4,2) and C(6,4).
A. The coordinates of angle A'B'C', the image of angle ABC after a reflection in the x-axis, are A' ( , ), B' ( , ), C' ( , )
B. The coordinates of Angle A"B"C", the image of angle ABC after a reflection in the origin, are A" ( , ), B" ( , ), C" ( , )
C. The coordinates of angle A'''B'''C''', the image of angle ABC after a dilation of constant 2, and A''' ( , ), B''' ( , ), and C''' ( , ).

A(1, 2), B(4,2) and C(6,4).

Draw the original triangle:

Reflect it in the x-axis, we get the green triangle:

So reflecting in the x-axis keeps the x coordinate
and changes the sign of the y-coordinate.

---

Reflect it in the origin, this green triangle:

So reflecting in the origin changes the sign of BOTH coordinates.

----

A dilation of 2 from the origin, this green triangle

Both coordinates are multiplied by 2.
