Question 422504: in triangle abc,the measure of angle b is 40 degrees more than three times the measure of angle a, the measure of angle c is 65 degrees more than the measure of angle a, find the measure of each angle.
Answer by checkley79(3341)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
b=3a+40
c=a+65
a+b+c=180
a+(3a+40)+(a+65)=180
a+3a+40+a+65=180
5a=180-40-65
5a=75
a=75/5
a=15 degrees,
Proof:
15+3*15+40+15+65=180
15+45+40+15+65=180
180=180
