Question 41811: Can someone out there help me solve this?
I have a triangle that isisosceles.
From bottom left point I have D to the top which is E and is 15 on that side and down on the right side from E to F is 15.
The acute angle at the top (E) is 72 degrees.
I need to find m < D and m < F
Thanks,
Lyn
Answer by gsmani_iyer(201) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of the angles in a triangle is equal to 180 degrees. The angles opposite to the equal sides are equal.
The top angle = 72 degrees.
The sum of the other two angles = 180-72 = 108 degrees.
Since both the angles are equal (Opp to sides of 15 cms), their angles are
= 108/2 = 54 degrees each. Answer. I hope this is clear to you
