Hi,
Let x, 2x and 6x represent the smallest angles and larger two angles respectively
question states***
x + 2x + 6x = 180°
solving for x
9x = 180°
x = 20°, the smallest, the others 40° and 120°
CHECKING our Answer
20° + 40° + 120° = 180°

let x = smallest angle of triangle
then, 6x = largest angle
and 2x = other angle
fact: the three angles of a triangle total 180 deg
therefore, x+2x+6x=180
or 9x=180
dividing both sides of the equation by 9,
x=20
ans: the smallest angle of the triangle is 20 deg
