What is the measure of an angle such that the sum of the measures of its complement and its supplement is 230 degrees??
..
angle = x
supplement = 180-x
complement = 90-x
..
(180-x)+(90-x)=230
180-x+90-x=230
-2x+270=230
-270
-2x+270-270=-270+230
-2x=-40
/-2
x= 20 the angle
