A trapezoid has an area of 108 square feet. If the lengths of the bases are 10 feet and 14 feet, find the height.
first you need to know that the formula of a trapezoid is
1/2(b1+b2)h
then u plug in the figures you already have
1/2(10+14)h=108 <=add everthing in parenthesis
1/2(24)h=108 <=multiply 1/2 by 24
12h=108 <=divide 108 by 12 to find the height
h = 9ft
the height is 9 ft
