An angle measure is twelve degrees more than half the measure of its supplement. Find the measure of the angle.
Please show how to solve and answer. Thank You!

Let the measure of the angle be A

Then measure of its supplement is (180 - A)

Since the angle measures twelve degrees more than half the measure of its supplement, then we'll have: A+=+12+%2B+%281%2F2%29180+-+A

Multiply equation by LCD, 2 to get: 2A = 24 + 180 - A

3A = 204

A, or angle = 204%2F3 or highlight_green%2868%5Eo%29
