Question 34230: One interior angle of a convex polygon is 160degrees. The rest of the interior angles of the polygan are each 112degrees. How many sides does the polygon have?
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of the exterior angles is 360 degrees.
One interior is 160; the corresponding exterior is 20
That leaves 240 degrees for the sum of the other exterior
angles.
You are told the other interior angles are 112 each; so
the corresponding interior angles are each 68 degrees.
240/68=5; so there are a total of 6 interior angles.
Therefore there are a total of six sides to the polynomial.
