given triangle ABC with a=12 b=10 and c=8 find the angles in degrees and minutes. i would really appreciate any help that i can get.
-------------------------
Use the Law of Cosines:
Cos(A) = (b^2+c^2-a^2)/2bc
--------
cos(A) = (10^2+8^2-12^2)/(2*10*8)
-----
cos(A) = 0.125
---
A = cos^-1(0.125) = 82.82 degrees
----------------
Do the same for B.
------
Then C = 180-(A+B)
