Hello,
Let's have "x" represent the first angle. The second angle will be shown as 3x and the third angle will be x+55. We know all triangles have 180 degrees so the equation we can set up will look like this:
x+3x+(x+55)=180 Combine like terms and we'll get:
5x+55=180 Now subtract 55 from both sides to get:
5x=135 Divide both sides by 5 to result in:
x=27 OK this is the smallest angle.
