Two angles are supplementary.One angle is 9 times bigger than the other,what is the measure of both angles?
----------------------
Equations:
x + y = 180 degrees
x = 9y
-----------------
Substitute and solve for "y":
9y+y = 180
10y = 180
y = 18 degrees (one of the angles)
9y = 162 degrees (the other angle)
