Question 230480: Find the slope of a line perpendicular to the line passing through these given points (6,-1),(3,-2)
Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(6,-1),(3,-2)
Slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(-2+1)/(3-6)=-1/-3=1/3
The perpendicular line would have a slope =-3 (the negative reciprical of this slope).
