Determine which angle is such that its supplement is five times the angle itself.

Step 1. Supplementary angles means that two angles add up to 180 degrees.

Step 2. Let x be one angle and 180-x be it supplementary angle.

Step 3. Let 5x be five time the angle itself.

Step 4. Since its supplement is five times the angle itself, then 180-x=5x or 180=6x or x=30 degrees and 5x=150 degrees.

Step 5. Answer is 30 degrees and its supplement is 150 degrees.
