Question 211689: I am having trouble figuring out how to find the angle's degree with equations. I have a 180 degree angle that has a split in the middle to make two 90 degree angles. The question is: If angle ABD (the first 90 degree angle)= 4x + 15 and DBC (The second 90 degree angle)= 2x + 11, find the degree measure of angle DBC (which is the 180 degree angle in a whole). I don't exactly want an answer, I just want some tips on how to solve it. Thank you very much for your time.

Those may look like 90° angles in your book or 
worksheet, but they are more like this:



Set the sum of the angles = 180°

     ∠ABD + ∠DBC = 180°

(4x+15) + (2x+11) = 180
4x + 15 + 2x + 11 = 180
          6x + 26 = 180
               6x = 154
                x =    

∠DBC =
