Question 207945: Please help me solve this problem: d = rt when r = 390 mph
and t = 3 1/2 hr
I have tried this: 360 * 3.5 =12600
But I'm not sure it's right or what dimension it is
because it says to solve the missing dimension.

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
d = rt when r = 390 mph and t = 3 1/2 hr
Why did you use 360 instead of 390?
Then you multiplied 360*35 instead of 3.5.
------------------------------------------------
d=390*3.5=1,365 miles. ans.
