How do you find the angle's measure is 70 more than that of it's complement? I know the answer is 80, but how do you find the answer?

Let the angle be "x".
Then its complement is "90-x"
------------------------------
EQUALITY:
angle - complement = 70
x - (90-x) = 70
2x - 90 = 70
2x = 160
x = 80
