Radians works on the concept of a full circle (360 degrees) is 2pi
if 2pi is a full circle, then a half circle would bepi (180 degrees)
Therefore, 1%2F4 circle would 1PI%2F2
A quadrant is 1%2F4 of a circle
Quadrant I 0%3Cx%3Cpi%2F2
Quadrant II pi%2F2%3Cx%3Cpi
Quadrant III pi%3Cx%3C3pi%2F2
Quadrant IV 3pi%2F2%3Cx%3C2pi
If we convert the quadrants to 4th's since your angle is7pi%2F4
we get
I 0+-+2pi%2F4
II 2pi%2F4-4pi%2F4
III 4pi%2F4+-+6pi%2F4
IV 6pi%2F4+-+8pi%2F4
Since 7pi%2F4 is between 6pi%2F4 & 8pi%2F4
Your angle lies in quadrant IV
