Find the measure of an angle whose complement is four times its measure
Solution:
Defination: Complemantry angles are the angles whose sum is 90 degrees
let the angle =x (degrees)
4x+x=90 (degrees)
5x=90
x=90/5
x=18 (degrees)
The required angle is 18 degrees and the complemantry angle=72 degrees
