Question 134715: Good morning: I am working on this problem relating to two parallel lines.
Question:
Two parallel lines are intersected by a transversal. One angle measurement is given (35 degress). Find the measure of angle 2.
My answer:
I have m angle 2 = 50 degrees and m angle 35 degrees. Which are on the same side of the transversal suppementary.
Did i do this correctly. Thank you for your help in solving the question.

My answer:

--------------------------------
That depends on where angle 2 is on the trasversal.
If it is vertical to the 35 degree angle, it is 35 degrees.
-------------
If it is next to the 35 degree angle , it is 180-35 = 145 degrees.
