Answer by cngriffith(27) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The complement is one of two angles whose degree measures added together =90.
Complementary angles add up to 90. Corners are 90 degree angles. Complemantary and corner both start with a "c"
If you know that one angle =10, then subtract 10 from 90 to get the other angle.
90-10=80 so 80 is the measure of the other angle.
The supplement is one of two angles that add up to 180 degrees.
Supplementary angles add up to 180 degress.
Straight angle = 180 degrees.
Supplementaty and straight both start with an "s".
To find the other angle, subtract the angle that you know fromm 180 to find the other angle. 180-10=170
