Question 129746: This should be a simple task but for me, it's not. I have a quadrilateral and we are trying to determine the degrees. We have the degrees for 3 sides.
2 sides are at 60 degrees, 1 side is at 30 degrees. How do I solve for the 4th side?
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what book this is from as it is only a copy from a teacher. It says Lesson 23.3, Practice PW123

iN A QUADRILATERAL THERE IS 360 DEGREES
ADD UP WHAT YOUR KNOW 60 + 60 + 30 = 150
NOW SUBTRACT 360 FROM 150
ANSWER IS 21O
YOUR FOURTH SIDE IS A OBTUSE AT 210 DEGREES

put a diagonal in the quadrilateral.
Now you have 2 triangles.
The interior angles of 2 triangles add up to 360 deg.
360-60-60-30=210 deg. Ans.
