The measure of an angle is 21 degrees more than twice its supplement. Find the measure of each angle
-------------
A is the angle, S is the supplement.
S = 180 - A
---
A = 2(180 - A) + 21
Solve for A, then for S

Let x be the measure an angle
Note: Supplementary angles are two angles with a sum of 180.
x = ?
x = 21 + 2(180-x)
x = 21 + 360-2x
3x = 21 + 360
3x = 381

x = 127
