If 50°  is the vertex angle between the two congruent sides, then the base angle is half of (180°-50°), i.e. 65°.


In this case the exterior angle measure at the base of the triangle is  180°-65° = 115°.      ANSWER



If 50° is the base angle of the isosceles triangle, then the measure of the exterior angle is 180°-50° = 130°.    ANSWER
