Here's one way to find it.
Draw a third line n through Q, parallel to the other two lines l and m.
The 100 degree angle is divided into two angles; the angle above line n is 60 degrees because it is congruent to the measured angle at P.
The angle below line n at Q is then 100-60 = 40 degrees.
Then the measure of angle R is 180-40 = 140 degrees.
