Find the slope of each line.

If they're equal, they're parallel or coincident (same line).
It the product of the 2 slopes = -1, they're perpendicular.
o/w, neither.

The slopes are 2 for the first line and  for the second line.


The slopes are NEITHER equal NOR opposite to reciprocal.


So, the lines are NEITHER parallel NOR perpendicular.
