Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
angle 1+angle 2=180
3 angle 2+angle 2=180 because angle 1 is 3 of angle 2
4 angle 2=180
angle 2=45 degrees
angle 1=135 degrees, 3 times angle 2
They add to 180 degrees

A linear pair of angles must add up to 180 degrees.
180 = x+3x
180 = 4x
x = 180/4 = 45 this is the small ange. The big angle, the problem says, is:
45*3 = 135
