Let x = the angle
The complement is ( 90 - x )
The angle is 4 times its complement.
x = 4( 90 - x )
x = 360 - 4x
add 4x to each side
5x = 360
divide each side by 5
x = 72
The complement, ( 90 - x ) = 90 - 72 = 18
The angle is 72 and its complement is 18 .
