Add 6x to both sides
Subtract 180 from both sides
Combine like terms
Divide both sides by 5 to solve for x

180-X=540-6X
-X+6X=540-180
5X=360
X=360/5
X=72 ANSWER.
180-72=6(90-72)
108=6*18
