Question 1001065: the sum of the measures of all three angles is 180 degrees. if 2 angles have measures of 3a and then third angle measures 2a-28 calculate a. then calculate the measure of each angle

hi there,
2 angles have measures of 3a
= 6a
Third angle measures 2a - 28
All three angles = 180 degrees.
6a + 2a - 28 = 180
8a = 180 + 28
8a = 208
a = 26 degrees.
2 angles = 78 degrees apiece.(3a) = (3(26))
3rd angle = 24 degrees (2a - 28)
(52 - 28)
Hope this helps :-)
