You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(11)/(x)=4-(1)/(x) Start with the given equation.

cross(x)((11)/cross(x))=4x-cross(x)((1)/cross(x)) Multiply every term on both sides by the LCD x. Doing this will eliminate all of the fractions.

11=4x-1 Simplify

12=4x Add 1 to both sides.

3=x Divide both sides by 4.

So the solution is x=3
