(x2,y2) = 0,-3)
slope = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1) = (-3-0) / 0-5) = -3/-5 = 3/5
y-intercept is equal to -3.
the coordinate point of the y-intercept is taken from (0,-3) which tells you the value of y when the value of x is equal to 0.
slope intercept form of the equation of a straight line is equal to y = mx + b.
m is the slope
b is the y intercept.
this becomes y = 3/5 * x - 3.
that's the equation you want to graph.
