3x^3-8x^2+3x+2
If x=1 is a root, with synthetic division,
the quotient is a quadratic: (3x^2-5x-2)
(3x+1)(x-2)=0
x= -(1/3)
x=2 are the other roots. The question asked for another, so either one would be acceptable.

After you divide 3x3 − 8x2 + 3x + 2
by x = 1
3x^2 - 5x - 2 is left
(3x + 1)(x - 2) = 0
Further zeros of f(x):
x = -1/3
x = 2
