Which of the following is the point and slope of the equation y + 7 = ½(x + 1)?
a.(-7,-1),1/2
b.(-1,-7),1/2
c.(1,7),1/2-i got this answer
d.(-1,-7),-1/2

i got C because i put x=1 and y=7 so i put that in the parentheses together and that how i got my answer.not sure if i did it right

follow this RULE

y + 7 = ½(x + 1)?

y - (-7) = ½(x - ( -1)) using the minses in the RULE

b.(-1,-7),1/2
