Solve for the system of equation. If it cannot be solved, explain why.
4x+5y = -5
2x-y=1
***
4x+5y=-5
4x-2y=2 (mult. 2nd equation by 2)
subtract to eliminate x
7y=-7
y=-1
2x=y+1=-1+1=0
2x=0
x=0
point of intersection: (0,-1)
