The line 2x - 5y + 3 = 0 has a slope of 2%2F5 and a y-intercept of 3%2F5. The line 4x - 10y - 5 = 0 has a slope of 4%2F10 which is = to 2%2F5 and a y-intercept of -5%2F10 = -1%2F2. Since the slopes are the same and the intercepts are different, the lines are parallel, the system is inconsistent and has no solution.
