Hi,
0.4y=2x-3.2 0r 4y = 20x - 32 0r y = 5x - 8
Using the point-slope form: (y-(-8)) = 5x 0r (y+8) = 5x
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = 5x -8
standard form of a line is in the form Ax + By = C
5x -y = 8
