Line passing through (2,-2) and perpendicular to a line with the equation: 4x+2y=-6 0r  y = -2x - 3, m = -2

New Line:  m = 1/2  and y-2 = 1/2(x-(-2)) 

 Using the point-slope form:  y-2 = 1/2(x-(-2))0r  (y-2) = 1/2(x+2)

Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b  

where m is the slope and b the y-intercept. 

 y = (1/2)x +3 

standard form of a line is in the form Ax + By = C

 x - 2y = -6
