Question 773260: Brad has a yard that he wants to fence. The dimensions of the yard are 40 feet by 55 feet. How much fencing would he need to enclose the yard?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perimeter = 2* length + 2* width
I am assuming Length = 40 feet
and Width = 55 feet.
Perimeter = 2* 40 + 2* 55
Perimeter = 80 + 110
Perimeter = 190 feet
This is the length of fencing
required.
Hope this helps.
