Question 762374: what is the answer of (x-5y)^3
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x - 5y)^2
(x - 5y)(x - 5y)= x^2 - 10xy + 25y^2
(x^2 - 10xy + 25y^2)(x - 5y)=
(x^3 - 10x^2y + 25xy^2 - 5x^2y + 50xy^2 - 125y^3)
Collect like terms
x^3 - 15x^2y + 75xy^2 -125y^3
Hope this helps.
