Hello,
With this 2x-1/x=3/4
multiply by 4x to get:
8x^2-4=3x
Subtract 3x:
8x^2-3x-4=0
Factor using quadratic formula:
Plug the values into this to find the answers.

2x-1/x=3/4
find x.
Is it too strenuous or too difficult to use parentheses to make the problem clearer?
If it's (2x - 1)/x = 3/4, then , but
4(2x - 1) = 3x ------ Cross-multiplying
8x - 4 = 3x
8x - 3x = 4
5x = 4
You can do the check!!
