Question 689660: I'm not sure if this is the section I go to for this question but I have M=3/2, (6, -5) how do I put this in Ax+By=c form?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = mx + b

y = 3/2x + b

-5 = (3/2)(6) + b

-5 = 9 + b

-5 - 9 = b

-14 = b

b = -14

y = mx + b

y = (3/2)x - 14

2y = 3x - 28

-3x + 2y = -28

3x - 2y = 28

So the final answer is 3x - 2y = 28
