Question 683398: how do you graph -3x+4y=-24
Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Isoalte the y variable
Add 3x to both sides
-3x + 4y + 3x = -24 + 3x
4y = 3x - 24
Divide both sides by 4
y = => this is the slope intercept form of the line
...
y intercept is -6
Plot (0, -6)
...
x intercept is where y = 0
0 =
6 = x
= x
x = 8
Plot (8,0)
...
