Two equal sides of an isosceles triangle are 4m less than 3 times the third side.Find the dimensions of the triangle,if the perimeter is 55m.
**
let x=3rd side
(3x-4)=one of the equal sides
x+2(3x-4)=55
x+6x-8=55
7x=63
x=9
3x-4=27-4=23
dimensions:
3rd side=9m
each equal side=23m
