Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 4v = 8 + 3u
6(4v = 8 + 3u) is
24v = 48 + 18u
...
Substitute 48+18u into the second equation
48 + 18u = 6-3u
18u + 3u = 6 - 48
21u = -42
...
3(-2) + 8 = 4v
-6 + 8 = 4v
2 = 4v
