4^(3x+2)=9
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4^(3x+2)=9
:
Use the log equiv of exponents:
(3x+2)*log(4) = log(9)
:
.60206(3x+2) = .95424
3x + 2 = .95424/.60206
3x + 2 = 1.58496
3x = 1.58496 - 2
3x = -.41504
x = -.41504/3
x = -.1383
:
Check on calc (3x+2) = 3(-.1383) + 2 = +1.585; 4^1.585 = 9.000
