Question 626137: Find the value of k so that the point (k,k) lies on the line 2x-4y=8
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x-4y=8

2k-4k=8

-2k = 8

k = 8/(-2)

k = -4

So the point (-4,-4) lies on the line.
