Green: 12.4 - 11.2 = 1.2cm in 4 min. That's a rate of 1.2/4 = .3 cm/min

Red: 8.9 - 7.5 = 1.4cm in 10 min. That's a rate of 1.4/10 = .14 cm/min

Candle height = starting height - burn rate * time (in min)

Two equations:
Green candle height (y) = 12.4 - .3t
Red candle height (y) = 8.9 - .14t
