-8x+y=65
Solve by substiution- algebra
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+6y=33 .............1
y=65+8x
y=65+8x
Substitute y in (1)
3x+6(65 +8x)= 33
3x+390+48x= 33
3x+48x=33-390
51x=-357
/51
x=-7
Plug the value of x in (1)
3x+6y=33
3*-7+6y=33
-21+6y=33
6y=54
/6
y= 9
