Question 51082: The sum of the ages of Jerry and his father is 64 years. The difference i their ages is 32 years. How old is each?
Answer by darq(90) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
J+F=64
F-J=32 (Usually you don't expect a younger father :) )
J+F=64
F-J=32
F=64-J
F=J+32
J+32=64-J
2J=32
J=16
Jerry = 16 years old
Father = 16+32 = 48 years old
