First multiply both sides by the LCD which is x:
x - 88,000 = .32x

Next, you need to get all the x's on one side. Remember that x is 1.00x, so subtract 1.00x from each side:
1.00x -1.00x - 88000 = .32x - 1.00x
-88000 = -.68x

Next, divide both sides by -.68:

= = 129411.76 (approximately)
